How to read this map
Gold pins are communities we've verified with the builder. Icon pins are real places that exist today, from OpenStreetMap — accurate but community-maintained, so check anything that matters to your decision. Dashed amber pins are proposed or under construction: not built, approvals and timelines change, and some proposals never proceed. Distances are straight-line, not driving distance. Pins mark a community's general area, not its site boundary or any particular lot.
A 52-kilometre highway from Milton to Vaughan through Peel Region. Construction is underway — early works have begun, a construction manager has been named for the Highway 410 extension, and on September 1, 2026 the province announced from Caledon that it is advancing the eastern section along with the Highway 427 extension. The request for proposals covers Highway 400 to west of The Gore Road, which runs directly past the Mayfield corridor where most of these communities sit.

A 167,000 sq ft Costco is proposed as the anchor of a 36-acre commercial centre at the northwest corner of Mayfield Road and Creditview Road, with a gas bar, grocery store, restaurants and further retail. Caledon's planning committee has advanced a staff recommendation after technical issues were addressed.
It is not approved for construction and it is not built. This is the second attempt after a 2022 refusal over infrastructure. Treat it as possible upside, not a reason to buy.
Why the amenity data is live rather than hand-written
A typed list goes stale within months, and it's quietly flattering — it's tempting to include only the flattering entries. Pulling it live means this map shows the gaps too. If a community has no grocery store within 3 km, it will tell you that.
