Check any builder yourself — including us
Ontario's Home Construction Regulatory Authority publishes a public Ontario Builder Directory. It shows licence status, years active, number of homes built, any regulatory action taken, and a Tarion warranty overview. We use it, and so should you. If a salesperson discourages you from looking a builder up, that tells you something on its own.
Facts here come from public records and the builders' own registrations. Our opinion is clearly marked as opinion and sits behind a free account — we say things there we wouldn't say to a stranger.
Licence and track-record detail is re-checked against the HCRA directory each cycle. Where we haven't verified something, the card says so rather than guessing.
Who we'd buy from, who we'd want a longer deposit schedule from, and who we've had delivery problems with. That conversation happens on the phone, not on a public web page — and we'll have it honestly.
