Solmar · Mount Hope Rd & Columbia Way, Bolton · Caledon · Towns / Detached

From $789,900 after HST rebate

About this community

  • Bolton's first new community of this scale in close to a decade — 605 freehold homes
  • 25' extra-wide traditional towns, wider than most towns sold in this market
  • Holly and Lilac put a second primary bedroom on the main floor — rare on a town at this price
  • Solmar advertises the towns as up to 5 bedrooms, but the two plan books we hold top out at 4 — the fifth looks like an optional upgrade on certain plans, so ask us to confirm it in writing before you count on it
  • Extended deposit running to 365 days
  • 9' ceilings on the main AND second floor, on the towns as well as the detached
  • Healthy Home package included — kitchen water purifier, water softener, MERV 13 filter, humidifier, HRV
  • Appliance package and air conditioner included, plus $5,000 in décor dollars
  • All brick and stone, carpet-free throughout
  • Every model is drawn in two elevations, A and B — B is +$5,000 on the towns and +$10,000 on the detached

Where it actually is

Bolton sits in the Humber valley in the east end of Caledon, roughly 20 minutes from Highway 427 and about 25 from Pearson. It is a self-contained town rather than a subdivision on the edge of Brampton — there is an existing main street, an arena, an indoor pool and 240,000 sq ft of retail already built, which is unusual for new construction up here. The trade-off is the opposite of the Mayfield corridor: the amenities exist today, but Bolton has no GO rail station and no 400-series highway inside the town, so the commute is a drive.

What's around it

Today, and what's proposed

Here today

  • Albion Bolton Community Centre — arena and indoor pool
  • 240,000 sq ft of existing Bolton retail
  • 34 parks and 119+ acres of Bolton parkland
  • James Bolton PS, Allan Drive Middle School, Humberview SS and St. Michael Catholic SS
  • Humber Valley Heritage Trail and Albion Hills Conservation Park
  • Glen Eagle, Caledon Woods and Caledon Country Club golf

Planned or proposed

  • 3.51 acres of community park inside the community
  • 10.4 acres of pond
  • 3.6 acres of forest and open space
  • premium lots backing onto the pond and greenspace

Proposals, not promises. Municipal and builder plans change, and some never proceed. We'd never ask you to pay for something that isn't built yet.
